Be prepared for fall's latest fashion frenzy: the jacket. Whether it be leather or denim, oversized or tailored, boxy or slouchy, the jacket is key to rounding out your fall outfits. Fall Must: Track Pants

 

My newest favorite trend is the track pant. I started seeing these pants last winter and fell in love with them. They are basically fancy sweatpants - they are loose in the thigh and waist and tapered with elastic at the bottom. Sometimes they have a sport stripe down the side like mine or they might be made of silky material for an upscale look. Either way, they are comfortable with a capital C! Buy them now off the clearance racks and you will be both chic and cheap!

Fall Crush: Black Leather Details

I love the detail that so many clothes have right now. Whether it's a zipper, piping or color blocking, the details are what make an outfit most interesting. The trend I am crushing over is the touch of leather and/or "pleather", especially black. Watch for this trend to hit hard this Fall, too. So if you are out shopping the big summer clearance sales, and I know I am, then you need to seek out anything you can find with a touch of black leather so that you will be on-trend and looking chic this Fall!
