Horses, hats and haute couture were on hand this weekend at the 72nd running of the Iroquois Steeplechase in Nashville. There is no bigger party than this annual outdoor event. Think mint juleps, fascinators, bow ties, plaid and seersucker. Both men and women alike dress to the nines with the men often outdoing the women with their fancy duds.
I decided to stick to the trends with a white lace dress and a black and white striped hat. The Frye boots? Well, they are a necessity for this romp in the park! It is spring, after all and who wants to wear their their MIU MIUs in the mud?
