Boyfriend Blazer - Day 1

 The Boyfriend Jacket...hmmm I thought it was a blazer?  Whatever it is called, it is a very flexible piece for your wardrobe.  Today I paired a navy one with jeans, a tee and you guessed it - a boyfriend sweater!  Look for my boyfriend jacket at Banana Republic. 

Spring Fling

It may be January but it looks like spring today! We thought we would try stripes in a flirty skirt.  You can find this skirt at Ann Taylor Loft.

Birthday Beauty

I couldn't help myself. My beautiful baby girl turns 9 today and she looks oh so chic!  Skirt and shirt from J. Crew Crewcuts, boots are Old Navy and scarf from Etsy. Happy Birthday!

Stripe One!

Stripes are hot right now! The striped shirt and red cardigan both came off the clearance rack at Banana Republic. The skirt and shoes are J. Crew and the scarf is from Etsy. 

Brrr....

Winter is not over and it is very chilly this morning. So what to wear? That's easy! Choose a fabulous coat like this one from the clearance rack at Anthropologie. You can even wear it over your sweaty workout clothes and still look great.

Simply Sunday

I chose today's outfit because it incorporates items that are not only in style now, but because most of us have these pieces in our closet already.  The pencil skirt and cardigan are J. Crew, the crisp white blouse is from Banana Republic.  For accessories I used a skinny belt, long pearls and colored tights from T.J. Maxx.  The shoes are from Marti and Liz. If you live in Middle TN then you have to go to Marti and Liz!  They sell shoes worn by models or were store displays at a HUGE discount.

School's In

I had a meeting at my kids' school today.  The jeans and sweater both came from Belk.  It is one of my favorite places to shop because they have incredible sales, are easy to navigate, and has loads of designer brands.  Think Seven and Kensie. This pair of skinny Seven Jeans was on clearance for only $59!


The chambray shirt - a must-have for every closet - is from J.Crew.  You can wear it with jeans, under a business suit or even with a sparkly skirt!  And do you recognize the shoes?  Of course!  It's the $14 pair from Target.

Who says winter is over?

The stores do! As they start putting out spring styles, they are slashing prices on winter styles.  I found these cute boots at Target for only $14. I paired them with a pair of men's socks to get the slouch effect. Let's go shopping!
